Ridgeline Pintail Explorer 2 Smock

A highly breathable and waterproof general outdoor smock commonly used for dog walking and beating. The front waterproof zipped pouch is ideal for putting binoculars or a thermal imager in whilst deer stalking too. This smock is slightly shorter cut than other Ridgeline waterproof jackets.

Caring For Your Ridgeline Waterproof Garmet

The membrane in your waterproof Ridgeline jacket, smock or trousers can be damaged if incorrectly cared for. It is recommended to use a specialist cleaning product that is designed for washing clothing with a waterproof membrane (such as NikWax). As most Ridgeline waterproof garments are seam sealed to make sure that they are completely waterproof it is important to avoid direct heat which may cause the seam to part from the main body of the garment. This includes direct contact with a hot radiator, tumble drying, placing the garment in front of an open fire, airing cupboard or electric heater. Simply hang your Ridgeline out to dry.

Ridgeline recommend to handwash all waterproof garments at 30 degrees water temperature and avoid ironing, bleach and fabric conditioners.
