Lens Cleaning Equipment

A range of products to help clean and protect lenses, removing water marks and dust without scratching the lens itself. Regular cleaning of lenses helps ensure that optical instruments including binoculars and rifle scopes perform at their peak as dirty lenses reduce light transmission and image clarity. The more dust and dirt there is on a lens, the more likely you are to scratch the lens whilst cleaning so regular cleaning before it has built up is by far the best course of action. When cleaning a lens we gently brush off surface dust and grit using the soft brush section of a lens pen, we then clean the lens with a lens wipe to wet the area and remove more stubborn dust that has adhered to the lens and also any light oil / water residue that has covered the lens from rain / the air. Once this has dried you usually find that the solution in the wipe has left a few smears on the lens which can be buffed out using the buffing section on a lens pen, if these smears are stubborn it can help to breathe out on the lens prior to buffing with the lens pen to add a small amount of moisture.
