Sako 90 Quest .308 Rifle

The Sako 90 is the latest model from this Finnish world class rifle maker featuring several improvements over previous models, find below a list of the changes that take the already market leading Sako rifles to the next level.
New trigger system allowing the trigger position to be moved to any one of 3 positions for optimum comfort and repeatability in all shooting positions, the trigger weight of pull can also be easily altered through the trigger guard using the Sako T-bar (supplied) allowing the trigger to be set to any of the 5 pre-set weights ranging from circa 1.8lbs up to 4.2lbs.
New plunger located on the front of the bolt shroud to stop a bolt accidentally being de-cocked while being carried out of the rifle.
New action design with picatinny rail machined directly in to the top of the receiver ensuring complete rigidity and perfect alignment every time.
New barrels and twist rates designed to perform as well with non-toxic ammunition as they do with standard ammunition.
New technologies utalised to enhance corrosion resistance and longevity of the rifle.
New double plunger extraction system to ensure reliable extraction and ejection even when slowly cycling the bolt.
Same 3 locking lug system providing a quick 60° throw on the bolt for quicker reloading between shots.
Same double stacking stainless steel magazine for corrosion resistance, reliable feeding, good capacity and a clean flush fit into the rifle ensuring it does not get caught during use.
Same innovative magazine release system ensuring that the magazine release cannot accidentally be operated when in use which could result in the magazine being lost.
Same top loading facility allowing rounds to be fed into the magazine without releasing it, ideal when you need those extra few rounds quickly.

Sako 90 Quest rifles feature an ergonomically designed Carbon Fibre stock which can be easily and quickly adjusted both in the comb height and length of pull by pressing the inset buttons for a perfect sight picture in all positions, no tools required so adjust when you need to on the go. It has a semi-weight cold hammer forged stainless steel fluted barrel which has been cerakote coated in a dark finish for stealth and maximum corrosion resistance, an ideal rifle suitable both at the range and in the field.
