This Hornady Extreme Copper alloy eXpanding ammunition is manufactured using a one-piece monolithic copper alloy bullet with a flat polymer tip, designed for 95% or more weight retention and limited fragmentation for increased penetration.

The grooves on the bullet have been optimized to reduce drag, retaining velocity downrange and increasing the energy impacting the target.
