FX Maverick features dual AMP regulators - The first regulator pre-reduces the pressure in preparation for the second regulator in order to reduce the stress on the second regulator and acheives a more constant output pressure. The dual regulators work in tandem with the large 89cc power plenum to also allow for a more consistent working pressure to be delivered. Maverick utilises the Smooth Twist X barrel system.
