Sako Quad Varmint Walnut .22 LR Rifle

The Sako Quad range of rimfire rifles are built to a very high standard, they are accurate and very nice to use. Sako Quad rifles have interchangeable barrels so on one action it is possible to have a .17 HMR, .17 Mach II, .22 LR, and .22 WMR. The ability to swap barrels not only makes it cheaper to try different calibres but it allows the user to replace a barrel if it accidentally gets damaged without having to replace the whole rifle. The barrel can be changed in seconds by simply removing the bolt and magazine and then loosening a captive torx screw in the stock. As with all Sako rifles the adjustable trigger is creep free.

On this model a varmint weight barrel is used to achieve the best level of accuracy possible, a heavy barrel also allows more shots before the barrel starts to heat up. A walnut stock has been used to appeal to shooters who prefer a more traditional rifle and the feel of a quality wooden stock.
